Default Copying or porting a toolbar

Word 2007/2010 do not support toolbars so you cannot readily port a toolbar
to those versions - however see
http://www.gmayor.com/Toolbars_in_word_2007.htm . You can however port
ribbon customizations and QAT entries via add-in templates.
The startup folder is a normally hidden folder which (if you have not moved
the default location) can be located by typing or copying
%appdata%\Microsoft\Word\STARTUP
into the address bar of Windows Explorer or Internet Explorer (not Firefox).

Or you can save the template in which it is saved in Word's
Startup folder, where it will become a "global" template, and the toolbar
will be available to all documents.

Does this apply to all versions of Word or only the most recent
one(s)? And where is the Startup folder?
