Default What is the best way to compress pages of prt scr?

Word will handle documents of 32 mb text *PLUS* graphics. I doubt your
document comes near this.
Graphics have large file sizes - and may not be further compressible. You
need to adjust the image size to that you require before pasting it in.
Winzip will be of use only if you want to e-mail it to some unfortunate

What you need is a graphics program to collect and adjust your captured
images - SnagIt would fill the bill. There is a demo.

Hi,

I have a document with quite a bit of prt scr pasted. Needless to
say, it is huge. What is the best way to compress this document?

I tried "compress picture" via the drawing toolbar. It gave me the
impression that it was doing something because the hour glass stayed
on the screen for a while. But when I checked the file size
afterwards, no change. Is "compress picture" for jpg only? What is
the format of prt scr? png? bmp? wmf?

Should I use Winzip to compress the document? If yes, can you point
me to a **reliable** website to download the freeware please.

Appreciate guidance.
