You may have inadvertently applied paragraph distribution
(Ctrl+Shift+J) instead of justification. Does pressing Ctrl+J fix
it?
Another thing to check: Is the "Set the width of a space like
WordPerfect 5.x" option checked, in Tools | Options, Compatibility
tab? If so, clear it.

When typing a line with full justification on, the text now
