Default Printing a document that has embedded objects

Hello Reez-

AFAIK, If the objects are embedded to display as icons, they must first be
converted to display their content. Otherwise it is the icons that print... I
gather that is what is currently happening. Especially if there are as many
as you suggest, it will probably involve major revison & repagination of your
document, so you might want to work in a copy rather than the original.

If you post back with specific version information, someone may be able to
offer a macro to help automate at least part of the process.

Even so, there is the potential that if any of the objects are multipage
that they will not fully display in the doc... only the first page will be
viewable/printable. They will still have to be 'opened' in order to view the
additional pages & you'll be right back where you started. Those will
probably have to be re-inserted.

Don't be too discouraged by my comments, however, 'cause there are a number
of regulars in the ng that have probably tackled such a task on occasion. It
may take a while for them to surface, so continue to check back for
suggestions.

Good Luck |:)

I have received a document that has a zillion embedded objects such as other
Word documents, Excel spreadsheets and PDF's. Is there any way to print the
document INCLUDING the embedded objects without having to open and print each
of the objects individually.
In other words, I really would like to see a full copy of the whole document
with all attachments.
