Hi Everybody,
1. I just bought a new computer with Office 2007 already installed.
2. My wife and I dislike it.
3. The kids like it.
4. Can I install my old XP Office software and still keep version 2007
without a lot of aggravation.

You can indeed run two versions of Office side by side, with the
exception of Outlook. I'm doing that on this computer right now.

There's an annoyance with two versions of Word, where each time you
start up the "other" version it runs the installer to restore its
registry entries. This can be avoided by the steps shown at
http://www.gmayor.com/Toolbars_in_word_2007.htm.

I haven't tried installing Office 2003 on a computer that already has
2007. I know it works the other way, where you can tell the 2007
installer not to remove some or all of the previously installed 2003
programs.
