You would have to purchase a copy of Office 2000, in any case. Since MS
Word 98 is a Mac version, I don't think it qualifies you for the discount
upgrade price. MS Word 97 *might*--but Office 2000 is so old (the current
version is Office 2003) that you can likely find discounted copies somewhere
(sorry, don't know where).

And you cannot purchase and download a version, you will have to buy actual
CDs, though you can do that either online or in a physical store.
