G'day Blurry ,

So you paste into word? What happens if you paste into Photo editor,
save as gif / jpg and import THAT into word?

Not the case. I use word every day and don't normally change the zoom level
to anything other than 75% or 100% and I mostly use 100%. I think it's some
problem with word because the printed material is not as crisp as it was in
Word 2000. You probably wouldn't notice the difference unless you were
dealing with OLE tables from excel frequently. The display and print of the
tables is not awful but the image, both printed and on the screen, are
definately not as good in Word 2003 as they were in Word 2000. I know it
seems like a petty complaint but printed reports are the product I sell and
it is very important to me and my customers that they look their best.
Anyway, thanks for the suggestion.

I recently switched to Office 2003 from Office 2000 and noticed a distinct
degredation in image quality when pasting an ole object from excel. When
using office 2000, I would copy, link and paste excel objects in my documents
and the image quality in Word was nearly identical to that seen in Excel.
When I switched to Office 2003, I find that spreadsheets that are embedded in
my word document and linked to excel have have far less image quality than
before. Anyone have any suggestions??
