Default add 1 to a pre set number in mail merge

You could use the following field construction

{ = ### + { MERGEREC } }

where ### is a number one less than the first number that you want to be
used. You must use Ctrl+F9 to insert each pair of field delimiters { } and
Alt+F9 to toggle off their display.

I am doing a mail merge of invoices and want to have an invoice number
that
increases by one for each invoice but the numbers must start from a
predefined starting point (say for example 243). So the invoices would be
numbered 243, 244, 245 etc etc.

Any help would be appreciated.
