Default Page X of Y

Hmm. Unfortunately my problem is different, and none of those refer
specifically to 2003. I did do the update, but that didn't solve it either.

There is a bug in Word that is different in different versions (including

See http://www.addbalance.com/word/pagexofy.htm or

X of Y problems. You may also want to take a look at:

you may also want to look at

Hi. I am using Word 2003 SP2.

I have a Word doc that has the Page X of Y autotext in the header. Each
time
an edit is made to the doc and the doc is then printed, the page numbering
is
incorrect --Y increases by one, but only on the hardcopy. (e.g., what
should
be Page 2/4, Page 3/4, and Page 4/4 displays as Page 2/5, 3/5, 4/5.) The
strange part is that the numbering is correct on the screen.

Any ideas are much appreciated!

Thanks.

Hilary
