Default Mutually exclusive checkboxes

I'm not aware of a way of doing that without programming. However, if you
aren't 100% committed to check boxes, you might consider using a Drop-Down
Form Field in which the choices are Yes, No, and Not Applicable.

How do you make checkboxes in a WORD form mutually exclusive? I do NOT
work
in code. Can this be done using the standard "Developer" functions
provided
in Word.
I am creating a form with several lines of questions. Each is to be
answered
using Yes/No/NA checkboxes. Only a single box should be checked.
