How can I change list levels automatically?
You don't mention which version of Word you are using.
In Word 2003 and earlier...
Tools, AutoCorrect Options
AutoFormat as you Type
Make sure there is a checkmark in "Set left and first-indent with tabs
and backspaces" - or something similar
In Word 2007 -
Click the Office Button
Select Word Options
Select the Proofing Tab
Click the AutoCorrect Options button
Click the AutoFormat as you Type tab
Make sure there is a checkmark in "Set left and first-indent with tabs
and backspaces"

Help! How can I automatically change list levels? After I press Enter, it
goes from "I." to "II.", which is normal. After that, I try to hit Tab to go
to "A.", but it just makes a Tab, not a change in list levels. Is there a
setting I have to change? Thanks!
