If the Caption style is set to "Automatically update" (in the Modify
Style dialog box) it is possible that the frame formatting as been
added to the style. Clear the "Automatically update" setting (see
http://word.mvps.org/faqs/formatting...formatted.htm).
Then remove the frame formatting from the style: In the Modify Style
dialog box (see
http://www.shaunakelly.com/word/styl...fyAStyle.html), click
Format, Frame. Click Remove Frame. Click OK.
