Answer: how do I write 2 raised to the power of n in MS Word?
- Open your MS Word document and navigate to the table where you want to enter the expression.
- Click on the cell where you want to enter the expression.
- Type the number 2, followed by the ^ symbol (which represents "to the power of").
- Immediately after the ^ symbol, type the letter n to represent the variable.
- Highlight the letter n with your cursor.
- Navigate to the Home tab in the ribbon at the top of the screen.
- In the Font section of the ribbon, click on the Superscript button (which looks like an "x" with a raised "2" next to it).
- The letter n should now be raised to the power of 2.
- If you want to change the value of n to a different number, simply delete the old n and replace it with the new number.
- Repeat steps 5-8 to raise the new number to the power of 2.
