To start with, disable the Office Plug-in in Norton AntiVirus. You may also
need to update your Acrobat add-in.

because when I try (double-clicking a Word 2003 document, named for
example
My Paper) an error message pops up. The text of this message:
"Word cannot open this document template (C:\Program
Files...PDFMaker.dot).
After I click OK to that, I get the error message "The file My Paper is
not
available."
Furthermore, when I try to close Word, even if I haven't used it at all, I
get the error message
"The file Normal already exists. Do you want to replace it?" followed by
yes
no cancel. If you click no, it directs you to a Template folder where you
can
save a new template, but I always choose yes to this question, which is
the
only way I can exit Word 2003.
What can I do so that I can open my Word documents?
