I am looking for latency figures (from experience) of
deploying MS Word for approximately 8000 concurrent ( and
distributed ) users on a terminal server / app server.
The bandwidth available is aprrox. 2Mb.

Also is there a light weight version of MS Word or
plugins that can be used for integration with a Java
Applet ?
