Yes but how do you turn the program off?

I could be wrong, but I think EndNote creates normal endnotes in Word, so
uninstalling the software shouldn't affect the usability of the document.
This is bound to be the case; otherwise users who don't have EndNote
installed wouldn't be able to view and print the notes in a Word document
created using it.

I'm not familiar with the "End Notes" program, or whether it is a part of
your entire Word program now or just the one file. Could you just create
a
new document, and transfer the text exclusively?

Okay I am using a mac and word 2004. Someone has written a document
with end
notes program, I want to take off the program but keep the notes. I can
copy
the notes text and place it above the end notes area but then I can't:
delete
the end notes from the programmed area or delete the format lines around
the
notes program area. Is there a way to just take the program off? That's
what
I really want. Can anyone help me not kill my computer??
