FileSave As, open the list of file types at the bottom of the dialog
window. You *won't* find any WP formats there, but there are some that may
help depending on the nature of the doc & the version of WP. The ones to
consider are Rich Text Format (*.rtf) and Word 97-2003 & 6.0/95 - RTF
(*.doc).
There are also 3rd-Party converter apps on the market as well as filters
available from the 'file converter downloads' posted he

Just keep in mind that neither option is going to render the document with
100% accuracy.
