Fantastic. Thanks - that worked a treat.

I had to make each table not have a line at the bottom
otherwise when they butted up against each other the line
was double thickness.

I was about to reply with "how do I format hidden?" but
then I found it in Format/Font. Also, I was going to
ask "how do I now select the hidden row to unhide it or
do something else?" but I found that the Show/Hide all
characters also shows the hidden text.

Thanks so much for your speedy reply.

Hi.

I have a document with two tables and a paragraph mark
(empty paragraph) between them:

----------------
| |
----------------
{Para}
----------------
| |
----------------

What I would like to do is make the 2 tables butt right
up against each other, but remain as 2 separate

tables -
i.e. NOT merge into one table - I need the {Para} to
remain.

Is it possible to tell the line with the {Para} to move
up so that the lower table is moved up to right beneath
the first table?

So far, the only thing I have been able to do is make

the
text point size 1 and then adjust the line spacing to
Exactly 0.7pt, but this still leaves a slight gap...

Can anyone help?!

Thanks.
