You can follow this guide,

1. Open the word document and select Insert on the ribbon.
2. In the Text, the group clicks the dropdown arrow for Object and Select-Object.
3. The Object dialog box will appear select Create from File.
4. Choose Browse and select the Excel file that you want to Embed.
