Default fit long but skinny table on one page

That is true, but I assumed from the description that the table
already exists.

It's easier still if you create the columns before the table, as then the
table, when inserted, will automatically be the full column width.

I have a table that is about a page and a half long, but narrow enough

that
it could fit on one page if I could figure out how to "wrap" the rest of

the
table like a new column. Does anyone know how to do this?

Make sure the table's width is slightly less than half of the width of
the text area between the margins. Then go to Format Columns and
select the Two icon.
