I'm not sure by what you mean about comparing Word with a mail server. But
anyway, here is some information:
1) I don't user a mail server to post to MS forums. I post directly, using:
http://support.microsoft.com/newsgroups/default.aspx
2) I have sent 3 posts to this thread without problem. The fourth post
(containing the Word 2000 post) was displayed only for a few minutes and then
removed.
3) I sent 4 posts to the other thread. One of them was displayed
momentarily, then removed.
