[removing all headers and footers[_2_]]

How do I get rid of the flashing logo on the top bar and the flickering
/flashing pen in the bottom bar? And how do I get the colors of the Windows
XP Pro (my theme) to work fully in Word 2007. The toolbars insist on being
blue no matter my theme?
