See http://homepage.swissonline.ch/cindymeister/LangFmt.htm, but be aware
that (a) Custom.dic is usually set for "All languages," and (b) if you paste
in text that is formatted with another language (which is a character
property), it can change the language at the insertion point regardless of
your default settings.
