Default Send Word file as an attachment

If you want to send the document as an attachment, you can always to that by
starting the message in Outlook,

However in Word 2003, you should see the options under FileSend for

Mail Recipient (for Review)...
Mail Recipient (as Attachment)...
Routing Recipient...
Online Meeting Participant - probably not enabled
Recipient using a Fax Modem...
Recipient using Internet Fax Service

Hope this helps.

Within Word document I am trying to send the file as an attachment.
However,
when I select "Send to" option under "File" menu, the document is always
send
within the body of text and NOT as an attachment. Then I select
"Customize"
under Tools and tried to move the icon "Send (as attachment)". But then,
as I
move the icon "with paper clip" on to the tool bar the icon changes into
"Send (as Text)" with letter "A" replacing the paper clip. I am really
puzzled. I remember using "Send (as attachment" feature in the office
computer two years ago. But I cannot find a way in my laptop's Word 2003
to
send file as attachment within Word. I use Outlook 2003 as my email
program.
I'd appreciate help from the forum members. Thanks.
