In Mail Merge I want to delete a existing file. In Step 2 I start from
existing document. One of the file names I want to delete. It is a
.docx name. I did a file search and nothing comes up. It does not right
click.
What is next?

If you want to remove the data source from a mail merge main document,
change the type of the document to a Normal Word document. Then if you
want to, change it back to the original type of mail merge main document.
It
will then no longer have the data source attached.
