In 'File, Page Setup' on the layout tab, you can adjust the footer distance
from the bottom of the page, you have to balance that against the height of
the footer and the bottom margin to get the separation you want.

i am working on work document and i find out that sometimes the separator of
the footnot is short and sometimes is very long extend to the end of the page
horizontally. so, please need help how to unify the separator in all the
