Default How secure is the encryption - Office 2007

IF you use a long (at least 12 digits) and sensibly random password, the
file is as safe as can be from casual thieves. However, absolutely no
encryption is safe from government agencies: they can crack anything given
time and reason.

Note that some new notebooks have an embedded security chip (TPM - Trusted
Platform Module) that can be used with security software provided by the
manufacturer (i.e. HP Protect Tools) that will encrypt your whole hard
drive. There are also third party utilities that will do a similar task. Try
a search in Google for laptop drive encryption.

How secure is a document encryupted by using the feature of Office 2007?
Can I assume my document stored in a portable PC is kept secured even
after it is stolen?
