MS Word 2003. In the envelopes and labels wizard return addresses can be
inserted by clicking on the down arrow to select from a list of previously used addresses. How can that drop down list be edited to remove old addresses? Thanks |

The short answer is that you can't. The only way to clear the address list is
to delete or rename the Word data key in the registry - HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\W ord\Data - but this has implications for a whole raft of personal settings. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org "Keith" wrote: MS Word 2003. Thanks Graham, I would rather not change registry settings. Is there a file I
can delete or rename to force a new listing of return addresses? Thanks again. - Keith "Graham Mayor" wrote: The short answer is that you can't. No. They are stored in the registry as indicated. Not in a file.
