Every time I launch Word and open a file I am presented with My Documents on
the C Drive. I put all my applications on the C drive and my working files on the D Drive. How do I change the default to D Drive? |

In Word 2003 or earlier, click on Tools | Options | File Locations tab,
and modify the location for Documents to d:\ or d:\foldername. In Word 2007, click on Office Button | Word Options | Advanced, scroll down to the bottom, click on File Locations, and modify the location for Documents to d:\ or d:\foldername.
