Inspite of choosing the right saving format (2007 format) mode under 'word
options', i am unable to turn-off the compatibility mode. It is working well for excel and power point. Any suggestions to overcome this. thanks in advance |

Hi CPS,
When are you seeing the compatibility mode choice? On new files, old files...? Files already saved in either legacy (.doc) format or in .docX format where your settings were to maintain compatibility with prior versions, will usually need to have applied either Office Button=Convert or resave without the Compatibility choice applied. =================== "CPS" wrote in message ... Hi Bob
I'm seeing this on new files. Since my default save option (Office Button=word options=save=save document) is .docX format, i think, compatibility mode should be off when i open a new doc. Inorder to overcome this, after opening, i'm forced to convert every new doc file. Thanks "Bob Buckland ?:-)" wrote: Hi CPS, When are you seeing the compatibility mode choice?
