That's called "Justified". In Word 2007, you can achieve this for any given
paragraph by clicking the Justify tool in the Home ribbon tab. In earlier versions of Word, the Justify tool is in the Formatting toolbar. In all versions of Word, you can press Ctrl+J to toggle justification on/off. Applying attributes in this way is called "direct formatting". You will have better control and formatting leverage, however, if you create a style that contains the justified setting. -- Herb Tyson MS MVP Author of the Word 2007 Bible Blog: http://word2007bible.herbtyson.com Web: http://www.herbtyson.com "sheana" wrote in message ...
