Somehow the spellchecker function has variations of English, French and
Spanish selected to use during spellcheckijng of documents. I cannot find any info on how to deselt these languages. English is set as my default language in "set language" and only english is selected in the Microsoft Office Language Settings yet when running spellcheck it still applies French and Spanish agianst the document.ofiice |

Word choose a spelling lexicon based on the language applied to the text.
Ctrl+A to select the entire document, then go to Tools | Language | Set Language is set to English for the entire document. Also clear the check box for "Detect language automatically." -- Suzanne S.
