In word 2007 email options to request a receipt for delivery, the drop down
box randomly freezes for approximately 60 seconds. Operating system in
Windows 7 professional 64-bit.

Do you have the same issue when selecting that option when composing a
message that is initiated from Outlook rather than by using the Send
facility under the Office button?
