I have created a .dot form within word. There are database fields that pull information in from an external database. There are also word fields like checkit boxes and fillin fields that the user clicks or fills in. The problem that I am having is that in order to make the "word" fields like the checkit boxes and fillin fields to work, the form needs to be locked. When I do this, then the fields populated from the external database can't place there data within the form. If I don't lock the form, then the "word" fields don't work. HELP! Is there anything that will make these work together? Word 2003
