When creating a form, and the fill in space, when text is entered into the
fill in space the text on the same line shifts. I don't want the fill in text to effect the rest of the text on the form. |

Create the form as a table.

Put the field in a borderless table cell and fix the size of that table cell

What you are talking about is what Word calls an "online form." Check this
in help. For more about online forms, follow the links at http://addbalance.com/word/wordwebresources.htm#Forms or http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customizat...nTheBlanks.htm especially Dian Chapman's series of articles. You may also want to look at http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/TblsFl...nesInForms.htm. You need to put your formfield in a container, either a fixed-size table cell or a frame.
