Table of Contents & Page Numbers
Is it possible to have several levels of heading in a table of contents but
only show the page number on the highest level? |

Yes. After you've inserted the TOC, press Alt+F9 to show field codes.
You'll see something similar to { TOC \o "1-3" \h }. Add \n "2-9" to the field code, press Alt+F9 again to hide field codes. Update the TOC, for example by pressing F9. For more, see http://word.mvps.org/faqs/formatting/TOCSwitches.htm. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Janie" wrote in message ...
