I am using word 2002 after editing my document i pressed save and the computer
responded : the file normal already exist would you like to replace it with the existing document and i accidently responded yes. Now when i go to open my document it comes up blank with zero characters. please tell me there is a way i can get it back, please |

If there is, that's a backup copy of the file. Make a copy of it and give the copy the ".doc" or whatever extension your original had. If there isn't then you're out of luck. Normal.dot is the file your computer opens when you open Word. It should be
blank. Which file is messed up? In the folder where your document was saved, is there another file whose name begins with "Backup of" and whose extension is ".wbk"? -- Bob http://www.kanyak.com |
