I thought I understood the concept behind using TOC styles, but
evidently not. My Table of Contents has "duplicate" outlined numbering, ie: I. I. Heading 1. A. A. Heading 2. It looks like the first outlined number is outside of the TOC field because it doesn't show up in grey when I select the Table of Contents. Does anyone have an idea as to what would cause this? I've wasted two hours trying to fix it. Thanks! Jessi |

It sounds as if the TOC is picking up the heading numbering but numbering
has also been applied to the TOC styles. -- Suzanne S.
