maybe i wasn't clear. i know how to change the normal.dot. but i don't know
how to make the change i need. i want to open a new document so it fills the whole screen. right now the whole ruler of 7" across takes up only 2 inches and it leaves a gray background. how do i make it so the ruler goes across the whole screen? thanks "Jay Freedman" wrote: imat wrote: till recently when i opened word in windows xp the view was print layout and the page took up the screen. now when i open a new document in word the document in miniscule and the typing even smaller. the old documents open correct. what setting to i have to check or change thank you See http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/Genera...iewAndZoom.htm for instructions. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. |
