My boss has just asked this question and I can't find any help online. Its
not something I've heard of before, but he's convinced he should be able to! |

Search Word's Help for "formula," which will bring up the "Field codes: =
(Formula) field" topic, which is what you need. Although the Formula command is on the Table menu, formula fields can be used anywhere; they're just easier to use in tables (because you can use cell references). -- Suzanne S.
