Hi

In Word, when I highlight a word and hit backspace, that word doesn't get
deleted. Backspace without highlighting will delete, or hitting Delete key
will delete. I tried on other apps (like NotePad), and highlighting and
backspace would delete fine.

Please let me know how I can get my normal backspace back in Word.

On the Tools menu, click Options. Click the Edit tab. Check the
"Typing replaces selection" option, and click OK.
