operate on it getting totals, subtotals, etc. Is this possible? |

Yes, create a blank cell for the calculation(s) you want to make and select
"Formula" from the Table menu. "APRINC" wrote in message ... I have set up a table in a Microsoft Word 2002 document and would like to operate on it getting totals, subtotals, etc. Is this possible? |

Be aware though that you will get an error if you use the result of a
calculation as an input to another calculation. That is, if you use a formula in word to sum two subtotals, you will not get the correct result. To get the correct Total, the formula must reference directly the numbers entered into each cell that will contribute to the total. -- Hope this helps.
