When I double click a Word200 document, Word opens and requests a virus
check. This annoyingly slows up the access to the document that I want, which I have created and has no viruses. How can I prevent Word from requesting a virus check each time it opens a document? Thanks. |

There is no virus checking capability built-in to Word. More likely that
you have the Norton AV plug-in. Disable it if you don't want to use it. -- Hope this helps. Please reply to the newsgroup unless you wish to avail yourself of my services on a paid consulting basis.
