Two scraps icons have appeared on my desktop from word documents created by
copying & pasting information from other word documents. When I attempt to
delete them, I get a message that they cannot be deleted as they are in use
by another person or program.
Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Instead of copying and pasting the file, you are copying the matter of your
document and pasting it to the Desktop. That is why you have these scrap
files.

You will not be able to delete those files till the same document is open to
whom they link. Close all open application and then try deleting these scrap
files. If that doesn't work. Restart your computer and when Windows start do
nothing else and delete these scrap files.
