Hi all,
I have several chapters in my document that are divided by section breaks. I have set up the page with "apply to this section". I insert a header for chapter 1 "Chapter 1" and this is put as the header throughout the whole document. Whereas I want to change the header of chapter 2 to "Chapter 2". What have I missed? ta |

Before you start putting together a bunch of different headers, take a look

You have two choices:
1. Unlink the headers between sections and insert different text manually. 2. Use the StyleRef field; this is much more efficient. See http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/StyleRef.htm -- Suzanne S.
