I'm trying to learn how to record macros. One thing I'm supposed to do is to
highlight some text and change the font. But I can't highlight the text unless I pause the recording, and then when I open my macro after I've finished, the font changes aren't there. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks. I'm using Microsoft Office 2003. |

The recorder has a hard time with mouse selection. Instead, use the Shift
key together with the arrow keys to highlight text. Here's some reading material that may help: http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/MacrosVBA/UsingRecorder.htm http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/MacrosVBA/...ordedMacro.htm -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. jmac52 wrote: I'm trying to learn how to record macros.
