All,
when inserting foot- or endnotes, Word automatically adds a line above them. I would like to remove these lines, but it is not obvious to me how to do this. I guess my question is obvious: how do I get rid of these lines? Kind regards, Rob. |

Switch to Normal view. Then, on the View menu, click Footnotes. In the
Footnote (Endnote) pane, delete the separator and continuation separator items. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Rob van der Heijden" wrote in message news ![]() All, when inserting foot- or endnotes, Word automatically adds a line above them. The question is obvious, but the method is not. Switch to normal view.
Select Footnotes from the View menu. Select Footnote Separator from the drop-down that initially says 'All footnotes'. Now delete the line. "Editing the footnote separator in Word 2007 is much the same as it was in earlier versions - switch to normal view (now called draft view) and from the references tab select 'show notes' . You can do what you want with the footnotes and the separator from the ensuing dialog." "Rob van der Heijden" Rob van der wrote in message ...
