I've created forms in Word 2003 which were distributed to people working in
many different versions. Those using Word 97 find that the tables are a horrible mess when opened. Is there something that I can do to make the form cross the boundry between versions without having this complication? Thanks in advance for any help you can offer. Qatussa |

On the Save tab of Tools | Options, enable the option to "Disable features
introduced after Microsoft Word 97." This is a document-specific setting and won't affect your other documents. -- Suzanne S. Hi Suzanne,
Great advice...thanks! As soon as I did this, the problem was clear...I'd forgotten nested tables aren't available in 97. You're an angel!!! "Suzanne S. Yes, a lot of new table features were introduced in Word 2000. Usually these
will degrade gracefully, but your Word 97 users won't see exactly what you intended. -- Suzanne S.
