Word 2002 should consider upgrading!
I get error reports saying that I should consider upgrading Word 2002 to Word
2007 I am wondering what benefits I would gain! I have a The Dictionary/Thesaurus which is unique; irreplaceable not to mention that it is linked to the Encarta! -- Kind Regards, Michael J Dickson |

Word 2002 should consider upgrading!
Error Message? - I think what you're getting is simply a notification that a
new version is available:-) As to whether you should upgrade to '07 - that's a decision only you are in a position to make. Go to the MS web site, see what it has to offer & determine whether it's right for you. Even if you don't upgrade to '07 you might consider upgrading to 2003 - it's a more stable release which includes some improvements over '02 & should provide the same compatibility. Does upgrading from 2002 to 2003 wipe outmy files in word?

If by 'files' you mean documents and templates, then no.
