In a word 2007 document URI hyperlink is removed by using 'Remove hyperlink'
option; the hyperlink is removed from the word document but it appears in the PDF document. The URI must appear as plain text in the PDF document. I have turned off the "Internet and network path with hyperlinks" option from 'AutoFormat' and 'AutoFormat As You Type' tabs before typing in Word. The problem still persists. Hi Ila
Ila Nivas wrote: In a word 2007 document URI hyperlink is removed by using 'Remove hyperlink' option; the hyperlink is removed from the word document but it appears in the PDF document. The URI must appear as plain text in the PDF document. is this happening with a hyperlink that is displayed as "http://....", or as a clickable hyperlink (say, like on a web page, having a different text)? The reason I'm asking this: there are some PDF readers who convert the former to hyperlinks by themselves, without there actually being a hyperlink present in the PDF file. If that's the case, you can only turn off the feature in the reader software. HTH Robert -- /"\ ASCII Ribbon Campaign | MS \ / | MVP X Against HTML | for / \ in e-mail & news | Word |
